Well....that is exactly what I am doing...but I am making one of them a PF with some OD who can play SF against teams who play bigs at the SF spot. Here is what they look like..
SF #1.
Jump Shot: sensational Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: wondrous Handling: sensational
Driving: tremendous Passing: prominent
Inside Shot: prolific Inside Def.: sensational
Rebounding: strong Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: mediocre

He is still only 22 so I will try and get his ID,IS and OD up one more level.

Here is my SF/PF combo

Jump Shot: prolific Jump Range: awful
Outside Def.: proficient Handling: prolific
Driving: prolific Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: prolific Inside Def.: sensational
Rebounding: prolific Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: inept Free Throw: average

He is only 22 so I have some time...I am hoping to get him a tremendous ID and sensational JS,IS and REB before the end of the season and then it will be OD,passing and JR next season and then come back and take his big man skills all up to or past marvelous by the time he turns 25...

Well at the moment he is a guard with decent secondaries. Needs a lot of inside training to be called a SF. More passing would be good as well.

I recently bought this guy :)

DMI: 232000
Age: 21
Height: 6'4" / 193 cm
Potential: superstar
Game Shape: proficient

Jump Shot: strong Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: prolific Handling: proficient
Driving: average Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: prominent ↑ Inside Def.: wondrous
Rebounding: strong Shot Blocking: strong
Stamina: inept Free Throw: average

Experience: awful

I thought about getting rebounding up to prominent, but someone said it eats a lot of potential and now I'm worried because he's only got superstar potential :S
Do you have any tips in general? How should I train his outside skills?
Thanks :)

According to Buzzer-Manager, this guy is about 70-76% capped, and with RB up to prominent he'll be 73-80% capped.
If I were you, I think I'd just get his RB up to 10, then go on with JS 14, OD 14, DV 8-9, IS 14,JR 8-9 to get a pretty decent all-rounder SF/PF..that will be about 90-100% capped according to Buzzer-Manager.

This is my current project

Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: inept Handling: mediocre
Driving: inept Passing: inept
Inside Shot: proficient Inside Def.: proficient ↑
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: mediocre

Experience: pitiful

19yo with HOF potential.

Plan is to do ID for the rest of the season then REB during final & off season before switching to outside skills for next season.

He is 6' 2" so the inside stuff has been a touch slow but i have had an exceptional coach for the past 6 weeks and plan on keeping one at that level for the foreseeable future.

At this stage i am aiming for Tremendous JS, JR, OD, ID & IS and then i will decide what to do once i have hit those levels. IS this a good plan?

Its a pretty good idea imo, even when he hit Tremendous for JS JR OD ID IS, he'll have quite a bit of room for more improvements
