There is a certain level of variance when considering single games. I think if you were to play with the same lineups and tactics, you would probably pick up more rebounds, maybe score a few more, etc. and the match would likely be much closer. One thing your opponent did have an advantage in is flow, and that's proven to be an important element to get good shots and not turn the ball over as much.
As far as playing easy vs normal, it also depends how much enthusiasm each team had going in.
