I have played a relegation match, tonight.

Yesterday I checked my opponent, and he was turned into a BOT-team. Most of the regular season he has been forfeiting his mathes, as he has had only 1 player.

Today, I expected to be met with a standard roster, but surprisingly, the team had no players.

Username has been botified, arena size has been botified, but why doesn't he get a standard roster? Isn't it a bug?

I hope it is, as it has cost me training and income :-(

Thanks for the quick reply.

As long as the team is not replaced, there will be no new players. This is not a bug.

Is there a spezial reason for this? I find it rather peculiar, that the BOT-team can forfeit all it's matches next season too, if it is not replaced. And there is no guarantee for this, is there?

This is costing you income and training. This is saving you

I'm not quite sure i can follow you here. Unless you mean that I do not have to pay salaries for the coming week, I can't see, what I am saving?

This team will be demoted at the lowest division possible and will not stay in D2.

You could have played a real human team and would have to battle 7th against 6th. Instead of that you are just here easily defeating a bot team. Of course, you probably knew this would happen, but this is still an offering that to be able to stay in D2 just by defeating a bot.

If my team is not good enough, or the manager is not, I don't think I win anything by staying in D2, and maybe gets beaten up for a whole season, thus loosing interest in the game, and quit. In my world, competing against a "man-maaged" team beats anything else - at any time. And who says, I want to stay in D2?

My argument is, that if you BOTify a team, make it total, or don't make it at all. To "design" a forfeit game is in my opinion a bug. Forfeits is a drag, and the end of the game. Nothing is more annoying, IMO.

Maybe considering fixed times of the season, e.g. all-start break and after PO, where teams are made BOTs, but that's another issue.

Oh, well. I'm just surprised, that this was possible. I have stayed in this game since season 7, and never heard of it before - and I haven't been able to find anything about. I hate surprises (and forfeit games) :-)
