Hey my 2 seed team just got beaten by the 3 seed in the playoffs when we were both playing POCT so obviously they were the better team. So I was wondering what I need to do to make my team better and give us a better shot at the championship next year. I'm open to everything, transfer suggestions, what position to draft for, all sorts of stuff. But I really want to keep Patrick Conley I'm pretty sure he will be my best player in a season or 2.

Gameshape. Gameshape. Gameshape. and finally GAMESHAPE.

If you want to keep Patrick, do it. But you need more of a player rotation. Players should generally get around 60 minutes a week, give or take. If you can make a spreadsheet, and track each players mins and position they played that week, along with DMI and Gameshape. This way you can tell how many minutes they need for their sweet spot. It also wouldn't hurt to have 2 or 3 decent bench players usually players that good at 2 Positions so they can eat minutes.

Edit - Big fopaw. When your out of the cup, do not play your stars/starters in scrimmage games unless you need them to get minutes. Ie they foul out or got hurt, previously that week. That will help you a lot.

What can I do. Most of my games I play TIE. I only have the starters on the starting line. I play them only during my two league games each week. What can I do that I am already not? Train for GameShape?

I answered this.

Once you are out of the Tournament, do not play your starters in the scrimmage. UNLESS, they fouled or got hurt, and are only near the 30 minute mark for the week.

Aim for you players to get around 60 minutes a week.

You can train gameshape if you like, I wouldn't, but you could.

You could get a doctor with Massage speciality, so that if you abuse your players, like you have, you could still get a generous gameshape update.

if you have a decent bench, you can start your bench players in games you know you'll win, giving your starters a rest. On the other hand, if you're facing a much stronger team which you're sure to lose against, start your bench players. Usually you'll have 1 of these games in your week, making it possible to start your star players once and let them come of the bench the other time. If they get less than 48 minutes as a result, you'll always have the option to play them off the bench in your scrimmage.

Of course, there will be weeks in which you'll need your starters to start both league games, but the impact will be less severe if they get less minutes the other weeks.
