Train them on 1 position as PG (you train 3 guards that get to play as PG for 48 min in your 3 games per week).

Personally with guards i think 1v1 is the best for training handling because it not only trains handling pretty quickly but helps in a couple other categories as well.

Outside Def.: respectable Handling: respectable
Driving: average Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: inept Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: atrocious Shot Blocking: atrocious

OD to prominent and Passing to Proficient would be a good starting point.

I would consider a little 1v1 forwards/guards to get his handling to proficient/prominent and then OD to prolific/sensational. It has been suggested that the elastic effect from handling will help most other guard skills. However, it has also been suggested that OD also has an effect on handling. Thus, you can probably work on both at the same time too.

OD will help him to become more competitive.

train 1-1 when you have only 2 games.
