Hello everyone, how are we all??

I got relegated from Div 2 so I have sold all my good players and I am just going to concentrate on some training for the next season or 2. I see some of you have some very good players so I don't think I would have stood a chance. Once I know the floor salary for this league I might buy a few more players. LOL

Hey mate, nice to have someone else who chats here. I’m still trying to climb back to doc 2 after bottoming our last season and rebuilding. Looking forward to some good contests.

Hey mate, hopefully we can all get a bit of chat going with some good banter and stuff.

I am surprised that the floor salary has stayed the same from div 2. I was paying floor salary of $245k in div 2 and it has stayed that way for div 3 also. I sold some players thinking the floor salary would go down.

Has it updated for you? Because I'm pretty sure the floor in this league is $114k. There's only a handful of active sides pushing it up, but some of the bots are running squads that are massive, so maybe that is keeping it a little higher.
I'm just trying to survive while keeping a couple of players either in or on the way to National duties. Getting back into Div 2 would really help, but I'd say I'm still a season away yet.

I was waiting for today to see if it would update but it hasn't. I am still paying the $245k that I was paying last season. I would have kept all my higher salary players if I knew it would have been the same. Lol.

That's a bit bull-s, I'm seeing 110k at this end now that I've checked. I'd ask about that. Mind you, My salary is currently higher than that anyway, so it won't bother me which way it goes.

Hello everybody. It is getting to that point in the tournament where some of us will lose and have to look for a scrimmage every Thursday. I am wondering if once we have been knocked out if anybody would be interested in just having a scrimmage with me every Thursday. Saves both of us looking for a scrimmage and it helps out the minutes of all players.

Cheers.

Yeah, I'm always looking for a scrimmage. Happy to play whoever really.

So we are coming into the back end of the season with Sydney Buzz obviously the clear leaders so far. Can anybody in the Great 8 stop them or will they go undefeated for the whole season and then through the finals.
I am sure that myself and Heywood Big Dogs will do everything we can to stop them as we all want to be the ones holding that cup at the end of season.

Then we still Kanagroos Dunks to worry on the Big 8 side. He should have a easy run into the finals and during.

I think the real danger is you and I slug it out in our semi, then have to take on Buzz in the final of our half having had a walk over, leaving him fresh as a daisy. Then which ever of us takes him on slug it out with him, leaving the winner knackered to take on a fresh Dunks outfit.
I think if you can find a way to sneak past Buzz into top you are in the box seat. I've left my run late after being slashed to pieces by injuries early in the season (having my three top salary players out for two weeks at one stage was not ideal).
Our side of the finals draw should at least be interesting.

On a side note, Kangaroo Dunk, what is the go with carrying 36 players with a salary less than 4k? Your starting 5 is great, but you could convert 30 of those guys into three or four 10k ones and have a reasonable Div 2 side with the salary you'd save.
