Is this current line-up of mostly new/next-generation players the one you're planning on using for the Consolation campaign Mick? I understand the logic of giving our future NT line-up experience, but I feel that it might be a bit harsh on the likes of Wayne and Williams to drop them for being too old when they're still on the right side of 30...

I expect he's just scouting. While the consol isn't hugely important, it does determine HCA for next season's Asia champs, so worth having a red hot go at it.

Scouting is still to happen. We have a scrim vs 21 NT and only using guys 27 or under to give them a run and see how they go. Side will be strongest after the game. I want to secure HCA for next season.

12 of our best players 27 or under have been selected to take on this coming seasons 21NT side. These players will be given the oppertunity to display their deveopment to Nt staff and try and force their way into this seasons team.

Very happy with the way Cicvaric played tonight. 9-13 FG for someone who takes mostly jump shots is a great showing, even against U21 level defence...

He did well. But one would hope so based on playing guys with much lower skills.
Was a good chance to see guys moving towards the side.
Some will make it some will not.

This seasons scouting is all done. Had hoped we had tonights training update but with the delay I had to get it done before enthus is reset. Not worth the risk leaving it for any later.

Those who have access to the Nt federation can look over the results and give their ideas about the team selection.
Will likely be some young blood in the side this season.

Cheers

The Aistralian National Team has hoped on a plan to Tounes for there first game of the season. The team after a disappointing season last year is looking to secure the hoe court advantage for next seasons Asian Championship.

Ten players have hoped on the plan with a couple of new faces making their NT debuts.

Kosta Perišić and Luka Cicvarić both looking to get their first offical NT game this Monday (actually Tuesday morning at 2am).

The full squad includes the following players:

Gaurds
Burl Barth
Poluta’u Brar
Luka Cicvarić
Ryan McMillan

Forwards
Dwight Catic
Kosta Perišić
Will Williams

Centres
Keith Anderson
Scott Schneider
Dylan Scoggins

Sadly main stay of the teams for seasons Brent Degas time in the NT appears to be over after missing selection. Brent played a total of 66 competitve games for the team and his experiance will be missed. But the team appears to moving into the next generation with a more physical play style the 34 seems to not be able to keep up with.

Better late than never ;) Bit of a shame (travesty?) that Dwight hasn't gotten more games for the NT. But, now that outside tactics seem to be more feasible (and versatility is essential given the GDP environment) no doubt he'll be a solid contributor, I'm confident of it :)
