Dynamic Duo Strike Again In Tough Loss

Yesterday's private league matchup between The Lebrons, and Los Titanes Catalanes, was an action packed game all the way until the end. Ron Yates and Javier Lagos Mellado, or the Dynamic Duo as local fanatics are calling them, played exceptionally well despite losing. Ron Yates had 13 points and 18 rebounds, Javier had 18 points and 20 rebounds. So far this season, no one has been able to put a stop to the outstanding rebounding of the dynamic duo, but that is expected to change with the start of league play.

Gürbüz Duruhan played much better last night than he did on Thursday, dropping 23 points, and dishing out 8 assists for a player rating of 12.0. Andoni Jugón got off to a slow start, but ended up hitting some important threes, right when The Lebrons needed them. Javier Lagos Mellado's 18 points were enough to make him the third leading scorer for The Lebrons. Javier is accomplishing all that The Lebrons had hoped, and more! He will be a player to watch. Ron Yates was last of the five starters in points, managing to make 5 FGs and one three.

The Lebrons will play their third game in three days tonight. They face off against division 5 hopeful Denver Cougars. The Denver Cougars averaged 58.1 rebounds, 110 points, and 11 steals per game last season on their way to a division 5 championship. The Lebrons averaged 45.5 rebounds, 101 points, and 15 steals per game while playing full court press. This year, with a better center, a better trained Ron Yates, a new SG, and a 2-3 defense, The Lebrons expect to get much more rebounds, less steals, and more points. Tonight, The Lebrons put all of that to the test against Denver Cougars. Make sure to check out the game, because you won't want to miss any minute of this game.
