Ok all let's go just when we thought the Big 8 couldn't get any more annoyingly hard, they got an absolute legend of a coach in Yuck.

Lots of good teams coming up from d.IV --- it's gonna be another though season in which we all can forget about making the threshold for auto promotion..

I'm gonna spend the season substituting the old guys that got me close to a faster than expected promotion with other old guys, though I'm not sure this time they'll be promotion worthy. Meanwhile continuing to reduce my arena disadvantage. Oh well, there's always the joy of training.

Welcome to s62, d.III.12!

Hey hey. Thanks for having me. Recognize a few old foes. Time to do some scouting and see if we can’t make a little noise.

Good luck to everyone. Should be a fun season.

Day 1 came and went!

Two big matches in Day 1.

- Cassville strong out of the gate, handling JCW at home and
- Ashkickers in a bit of a surprise after a disappointing season smothers the Crows' offense, holding the MVP Keano Claeys to just 2 points (!!!)

A few days ago I had noticed that in the interconference game I play all of Yuck, Crows and JCW away. After this performance by Ashkickers I went to check if I at least played them at home, but NO, my 4 away game in interconference are all against the top 4 favorites.

On the great 8 side,
- Doctors of WI showed up for his once a month logins, and got an easy away win.
- Globo promised his fans some wins, and got one to start, with a strong performance by the new big man. That Miami Heat team, looks like they might stave off relegation with an addition or two.
- Early in the second quarter, when X Dominate X injured Quanfu, I thought I might be headed for an embarrassing loss, but the team rebounded nicely, both literally and figuratively.

There were no nail biters among the other games. Scrap Heap looks like a team that could take a game or two from one of the top dogs, but needs something more.

Repeat after me: don't normal game 1 of the season unless you actually can get a win

Another strong write up Coco. And so begins the three month sprint.

Kind of excited about BBM this season. After tanking last season, I dipped all the way to Tier 5 of BBM. Should be able to win some games.

Day 2 was chalk day. The good teams faced the not-yet-good teams, and the former generally won big. The only moments when we thought about upsets were:

1) when Two-O's made it close against us in the second quarter, on what turned out to be a fluky scoring run.
2) when Cal Bulldogs jumped out to a lead against Yuck.

I was looking for a spike in the number of assists, given the season announcement, but my team had fewer than usual.
