Another season is upon us! It’s time for season 57.

Firstly, congratulations to Bergkamp on winning his first EBBL title. Comiserations again to Hope Springs, losing in their 3rd straight finals. I’m sure your time will come.

Welcome back to the EBBL to Gauson, Galaxy Walkers, Bournemouth Drunkers and Bromley-By-Bow. Hopefully you can make an impact this season with more knowledge and experience under your belts. Also, welcome to the newcomer Camden Kongs for the first ever EBBL season, coming off a 22-0 season but the EBBL is a different battleground.

The blue side has seen big changes this season with 4 new teams, which should make for some interesting battles and unpredictablablity. Tide of Fire have made a big purchase and look strong as always. Last season’s champions Arsenal 98 have the same squad and occult be looking for back to back titles. Optic Fibres will be looking to improve on their 13-9 record from last season. Roaring Lions have 4 strong homegrown players who are still improving. Can the promoted teams knock off these 4 teams out of the playoffs to secure survival?

The red side is looking incredibly competitive once again. 7 teams returning from last season add to that Bromley who have some very good players and will look to make an impact. Hope Springs have won the great 8 three seasons in a row and again look very strong. London Whales still hold the highest salary team in the league and will be strong once again. Team Nook reached the conference finals last year and are running back the same team and will hope to be in contention for a playoff spot again. Stinkilemons snuck into the final playoff spot last season after a slow start and will be looking to improve their record this season. Leeds City Ballers will be looking to perform better this season as they enter their second season with NT guard Banuelos. BC Zalgiris is a bit of an unknown at the moment as they look to be trying to sell a few players but have very strong players at the moment that would be a tough team to beat. St Purple & Greens will be hoping improvements in Franks and Padilla can help them improve on their 7th seed last season.

They have until the 6th June I believe to log in as they don’t have supporter to save them. Hopefully they log in before then, it’ll be a shame to lose another long time player.

As for the league, the conferences couldn’t be more opposite! The blue side already has a 4 game gap between 4th and 5th so it looks like we can already see the teams making the playoffs. Whereas in the red side there is 2 game gap between 3rd and 8th! Everyone is so close.

He is in that English Discord group, which is not very active, and might be worth messaging him there.

Hope to see you guys in few seasons. Got still a bit training to do, but hopefully they will be decent enough in 1-2 seasons to compete for promotion.

That would be a real shame, especially considering the players Lemon has provided to the England national team.

Lemon’s Utopia team has gone bot this week. I guess raises more concerns over whether he will come back at for his first team.

It looks like Lemon will be going bot on Monday unless they log in over the next few days. Real shame
