I suggested this in another thread in the context of the Finals in a league, but one of the things I find unrealistic in Buzzerbeater is the complete throwing of games. I'm not talking just going Playoff Normal in the Finals, but rather playing complete scrubs in Game 2 and losing by 80 points. I think there should be a penalty to enthusiasm for losing by more than 20-30 points as this would encourage teams to at least put up a showing. It wouldn't reduce the strategy of deciding to go TIE/Playoff Normal when the situation calls for it, but it would require teams to at least attempt to keep the game close.
