So you did. 'Gratz, the record is yours :) Didn't realise you were also a pretty new manager.

interesting. I've only promoted to the EBBL once - 28 seasons ago (I think).
welcome to all the newcomers - except Bergkamp; your card's marked sunshine ;-)

(yes, that was a kobe-like performance from Innes against my two trainees, well thought out by vecx)

Thanks, it was a bit of a long shot but worth a go, I was surprised how well the team faired... Innes is a touch of class and I'm having a hard time deciding if I should sell him or not.

Yeah well, because of that sale Morwood convinced himself that the other Mac would go for 3.0-3.5 millions. Now the bids are already above 5 millions and it will cost me 150k-200k to keep him, but I can't let him go if I have no guarantee he'll be trained to cap.

Seems I didn't celebrate my first win here, and over the defending champion too. I think the Tide beating LIDL followed by me beating Tide was like a good series of showing off why BB is good tactically...Innes exposes LIDL's trainees, then I exploit the PF playing at SF with a guard - and somehow kept him fairly quiet offensively. Bit of a lucky win really admittedly. Glad I got one...not sure when the next will be.

Am I gonna try to be the best promoted team or not? Maybe we find out the first part of this question on Sat.

Anyway, I was posting today to just have my own celebration at training my first 100 tsp player :) Own draftee too.
Not sure what I drafted him at but 65 tsp at the start of his age 20 year, only put on 5 tsp that year (that's bad)...made up a bit by 11 in his age 21 year.

Good win mate... I'm honestly amazed I'm not 0-4. Although earning 500k per week is nice ;)

Likely those skills that popped last year had been boosted to a high sub level in the previous year, making the actual training gains much more similar than they appear to be.

Also, well done. I think your first 100 tsp player has come faster than mine did. Not sure but I think I might be waiting for my second still.
