Absolutely chuffed with the win tonight. I caught Deportivo at a low point for sure, but still, winning away from home at last season's top team in this conference is really pleasing. After winning against a team who threw their game against me, and beating a team with a top player out injured, winning this one really makes me feel like my Wasps have finally arrived in the EBBL.

you haven't played the big boys yet, we wear blue

Congrats on finding your feet on the nursery slopes - onward and upward!

Ha! I have a current 20 game winning streak against blue teams. I am not at all confident I'll make it to 21.

Well you have los marinates first so hopefully it will be a solid challenge; you never know, first 3 games look like you could get to 23

Certainly won't find me taking Les Mesquites lightly. I'm well aware of what at least two of his players can do. Glad to have them at home that's for sure.

He's probably not that happy with the draw either. Really an away game to a good D2 team is something EBBL teams would rather avoid. He's got two away games in the league before he plays you. Its likely he won't be using his full squad against you. Not sure who you're playing before thursday but if you can rest starters and save them for the cup, your best chance is for you to have your best players playing and hope he doesn't have his playing.

Late to this one...but Paulk is definitely not the only player to play for a team in all four divisions, I guess it's a fairly elite club though. This dude was the first guy I ever bought when I started Div 4 and he was a backup guard on my team that finished top of the EBBL Great 8 in Season 21.

It definitely has to be a rare thing. There's probably not that many of us who've even been in D4. Great to know there was another one before Paulk though.

In fact I know of another one. Barry Bains played for L Dogs in all four divisions.
