Well after 22 seasons in the game Ive finally made it to the B3 tournament which is a totally new experience for myself.

I thought we could use this thread to discuss the teams in B3, player movements & injuries and also some of the important games.

Perhaps come the round of 32, some of the discussions in this thread might help those people who want to enter the Buzzerbeaters Best tipping competition.

Is there anyone who could write up a bit of a history of the B3 competition and perhaps highlight the former winners who are still active and therefore are competing????????
(previous winners of all previous B3 tournaments are invited to participate in perpetuity).

Is there anyone who could perhaps frame a market on the likely contenders and or perhaps do a write up on the dozen or so teams that in there opinion are most likely to win through to the final stages?????

Is there any one who could create and post a report that lists in descending order the weekly players salaries for each team?????

Historically from what countries have the winners come from? (Answer below)

For how many seasons has each team in this seasons B3 been involved in the game and for how many seasons have they competed in B3?

Good luck to everyone participating in this Seasons B3 competition

Multiple winners of B3 are;

4 wins BC Toroo (Canada)
3 wins Dionysus (China)
2 wins Venomous Scorpions (Iran)

Countries with the most wins;

4 wins Canada, China
3 wins Iran
2 wins Espana
1 win Italy, Nippon, Deutschland, Argentina, Slovensko, Latvija, Ceska Rep, Turkiye, Moldova, Polska

Lots of big countries with no winners

Only 14 countries out of 98 countries that exist, have produced winners of the B3 Tournament in the 23 seasons that it has run

Past winners of B3 competing in this seasons B3 tournament (still active - all past winners are invited to participate in perpetuity)

I love Tehran (Iran)
Pirulos (Espana)
Mloty Stargard (Polska)
Venomous Scorpions (Iran)
Dionysus (China)
Sant Mateu (Espana)
-=Defenders=- (Moldova
BC Dingo (Turkiye)
BC Hostivar (Ceska Rep)
Nitra Corgons (Slovensko)
Los Dragones (Argentina)
ESV Laim (Deutschland)

Apologies if any unintentional spelling mistakes exist

Well as far as the most expensive team rosters go, Im currently running with a weekly salary of 944 K

Im suspecting that there could be a dozen or more teams competing in this seasons B3 competition, that currently have more expensive rosters than this.

Who are they?

Does anyone know the story about why 4 time winner BC Toroo went Bot?

Were they caught cheating or did they just get tired of winning?

What are the chances that a team from one of the major countries that havent won a B3 title might win the championship this season??????
(i.e. USA, Lietuva, Hellas, Portugal, Serbija, Pilipinas, Magyarorszag, Israel, France, Eesti, Brasil)

Wow 20 players on your roster and a total salary by my mathes of 993 K

Loved by the buffalo, I see that you are the number one ranked team out of the 1163 teams playing from China

Is this your first time in B3?

How far in the competition do you think your team can go?

What part of China do you live in?

Please tell us about yourself, your team and how long you have been playing Buzzerbeater

I'm sure someone else knows more, but I do know Toroo is alive and well and has a team in Brazil.

In Season 24 he won the brazilian cup.

ESV Laim: He's back from his trainee journey ;) After 11 seasons he's back in the Bundesliga and has three of the highest skilled players in this game in his team. But his schedule is pretty harsh. Six opponents from the Top 50, one of them last season winner I love Teheran.

Lots of big countries with no winners

That is very strange, I'm wondering why... :sarcasm:
