Hey guys (girls?),

I just signed in and it looks like I'm promoting into your league this season. It's my first foray into d.II so here's hoping I don't embarrass myself too badly. I'm going to spend the next couple of days retooling my team and scouting all of yours, but I wanted to introduce myself first. I'm a young, eligible bachelor that enjoys candlelit dinners and long walks on the beach. I'm looking for someone to share new adventures and old secrets with, and-

Yeah, I noticed there were a few teams fading away last season. I'll take it, the more easy wins I can get the less likely I am to be relegated immediately. LOW EXPECTATIONS FOR THE WIN!

YAY we started the season thread before the all star break!!!

I'd like to announce that i will be winning a championship this season. So no one else should bother trying. Maybe this way you all tank and give me the easy victory :)

Well then that settles it - might as well start preparing for season 26, what's the use even trying - especially if you say so - then it must, absolutely, guaranteed, 100% must be true.

Yeah, I was going to take a run at it, but after this announcement I guess I'll just change course and relegate back down to d.III instead. Thanks for saving me the time, and conserving my resources buddy!

Man, T.V. Revenues take a hit this season. What a crap out! This will seriously affect weekly income and roster spots.
