Well another season is here gentleman and boy will it be a fun one.
First of all I'd like to congratulate Akuma on his stellar victory last season managing to go 22-0 coming into the playoffs and not dropping a single game. At the same time I'd like to welcome back (and console) The Jballers who had the misfortune of relegating into this death pit of a league.
As usual, with the new season brings the arrival of newcomers to our league.
BIG 8Brisbane Barbarians - crowned champions of league IV.63 last season
Chelsea Pistons - made the semifinals of the playoffs in league IV.5 (bot promotion)
Great 8-Celtics- - relegated from league II.1 (manager of ex U21 player Chris Hirschfeld)
Marcoville Maulers - crowned champions of league IV.52
Team 2 Beat - crowned champions of league IV.25
I'd like to give all the newcomers A warm welcome followed by my condolences for ending up in the toughest division III league in Australia. Now while this may be very disheartening, we are joined by many experienced managers who are friendly and quite willing to help out a fellow manager (provided it doesn't jeopardise their title chances
).
Before I continue blabbing on I'd like to wish everyone the best of luck this season, because I'll be giving it my all! Also just a heads up for those of you who don't know, The U21 National team elections are currently being held so if anyone wants to run against me feel free to write a speech and apply
before the 19th! (Saturday).
