Why should the salary be miscalculated?
Ignoring subskills his salary is something around 4000$

You should be happy that his actual salary is a bit higher because that indicates that he has some high subskills.

I drafted a guy who gets $ 4 332 but salary calculators show just $ 3 771 so I expect to get some easy skillups on him.

We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.

He is probably very high in JS and a few other skills as El Duderino said.

Very high meant very high subskill, he might be a notch away from strong JS.

He may not be an awesome draftee but he is ok. His best skills are the most expensive skills for a SF. His salary is what one would expect though in the high bracket which hints to high subskills.
I can understand you are disappointed by the skills distribution, it's always tricky with SF draftees, you never know what you will get but it's definitely not a salary calculation bug.

My calculator says his salary should be $ 3 664, however, if you replace JS from respectable(7) to strong(8), his salary would be $ 4 311.
I would suspect his actual JS is something like 7.9. And probably his RB>6, JR>5. OD>4 and ID>5.
If you give him 7.9 JS, 6.9 RB, 5.9 JR, 4.9 OD and 5.9 ID, his salary would be $ 5 478.

It could be anything from his JS being very close to 8, to all of his "salary skills" being about 0.4 higher than what it says.

You can't forget that position is an important piece of information as it gives you a rough estimation of the skill distribution. With a SF with 5 balls, you know JS is going to be high. You also know that some other skills will be proportionally lower or the position would change. OD, Handling, Passing (or he would be a guard) and the inside skills.

It's the position buddy. JS and rebounding are the major contributer to a SF's salary.
