i know a potential 8(7 is allstar right) SF who is improving pretty slow, with 40k salary which isn't close to the values in the table.

Yes, the SF are the first guys to reach the cap. (an Allstar SF probably will get the cap between 38-45k, while a Allstar center can reach 50k without getting capped)

What about Torooo's SF who didn't cap out until he closed in on $60,000 in salary? Also, my experience is that Cs cap out higher than 50k, probably closer to 55k at the very least.

Most of the times is how I tell you, I have seen hundreds of Allstars Sfs capped in the early 40s

I would like to see Toroos SF, it has to be interesting.

Don't SFs reach their potential much earler? I can't imagine a SF with salary of 150k.. Any thoughts?

Positions do not really affect how players progress towards their potential.

Here he is: (3187235). I know Torooo has come into this debate before and has mentioned that he wasn't capped until the high 50s. He was pretty sure of it.

The thing I am wondering with SFs is if age/height is a factor - it takes a long time to train a quality SF. I know my 6'10" SF last season took 4 weeks of 1 position pressure training to pop in outside d, this season I trained 4 weeks without a pop so far. Someone suggested that maybe he has hit his cap (he is probably around $40,000+ in salary now)... But I said maybe his height/age had something to do with it. For sure he could not have been at his cap last season at $30,000-35,000 in salary.

Hi, I know some Allstar SFs that got capped with a wage of 38k. When I did my study some months ago (following the progress of hundreds of trainees) I realized that some Allstar PGs were growing whithout reaching their cap when they were over 60k. Is very hard to see a capped PG with less than 50k wage. The SFs are the first ones to reach the cap most of the times (talking about salary, not the skills). And that happens with star, starter or Allstar potentials. I imagine that it will be the same with high potentials.

I suppose that the potentials limits are not based in salary at all, and 2 players with different combination of skills make a different salary cap even if they share position and potential. Probably the wage of the players can be related with potential limits because both deppends of the player skills. Saying this, I can assure you that 95% of the SFs reach their limits with a lower salary than 95% of the PGs.

I mean a very multiskilled player. For example, classical Center needs 3 skills to be improved while SF needs much more (6 and more!). Do you believe that allstar C will have triple 13 in IS, ID, RB and slow down whereas SF will have 13 in any 6 skills? It would be dishonest regarding C, PG and others.

I don't know what you studied, but caps do not depend on position.

No, this is simply an indication that visible cap levels are not created equal (which has been pretty much confirmed by previous testimony in the forums), and that one allstar can cap at a different salary that another allstar. Given that skills in BB are not integers, this is not unexpected at all.

but maybe the differents betwenn salary formula and potential formula are bigger or smaller in some positions.

So a SF with balanced skill set is still very low in the salary while he is hittin the potential, when a center or PG still train and raise their salary. The other explanation is that the salary growth is faster with more monoskilled players, so maybe you recognize it better when it start to stock and need more training to get the same salary increrase like a PG.
