Anyone know what level of player potential will cap to what skill levels? (ie starter starts around ~prolific or whatever it is) Or can someone point me to where this is already listed? thanks!

Potential doesn't cap to skill levels, it caps to salary levels.

I have a player, 23y and with starter potential with a current salary of $ 15.758. He is for the moment Tremendous IS, Average ID and Strong RB.
Lately he´s not responding to any training at all.
I know they learn slower with age, but I have given him plenty of training. I have a trainer with level 5.
Since his last "pops" in IS and ID and RB I have given him 4 full weeks of IS (C/PF pos.) and 4 weeks of ID (C/PF) and 1 week RB (C/PF) without him popping in either skill.

Is he not learning, or just so very much slower...

Are you saying he has reach his salarycap and is not learning anything more, or at a very very slow pace?

I also have a second 23y with 6th man potential and $ 14 826 not learning anything in ages...

There is no clear answer to this -- potential levels kick in at a combination of skills (similar to the way the salary is constructed), and there are different combinations that can trigger them.

is there a Salary to potential relation? Like say a Starter reaches his soft cap around the 15k salary range?

Anyone know how you can tell when you reach the soft cap?

What about Stamina and Free Throws, regarding salary? Do these influence salary at all? As they always rise, IF they influence salary, these 2 then shouldn't be trained at all before reaching the soft cap, as you then with training these can go over the soft cap...?

On my team, there are a couple players who had free throw and stamina pops in season 8, without their salary changing in season 9. In season 8, those players received no training of any kind other than stamina and free throws.

My conclusion is that stamina and free throws don't influence salary, but there may be some factors involved that I haven't taken into account.

Stamina and Free Throws doesn't influence salary:) With the highest soft cap, but atroucius Stamina and Free Throws, you would still train their Free Throws and Stamina, before reaching soft cap.
