Thought this was strange, new team still learning the ropes. The following is for my PG after 8 games.

FG... 67/180
3 PTS... 17/46

FT... 0/58

He has the lowest rating possable for FT, but 0/58? Jeeze, even Shaq makes one every blue moon! I could understand a PF or C, but kinda unreal for a guard to have a stat like this.

This is what you get for having atrocious FT. Having pitiful FT can make a huge difference.
My 19 year old player has pitiful FT but he makes more than 50% of the FT (accompanied by good GS throughout the season). I think that's a huge difference. Why don't you consider training FT during the playoff weeks?

Selling this player would be more usefull than training FT due to 27 yo player with wage 3k.

Well if he wants to use him just as a backup player, then there's no need for replacement. And FT training is not affected by the age or height. It's the same for all the players.

Yes, but why to train player which for sure will be not good enough even for his bench in few weeks and lost a week or several weeks of much more usefull training for younger players?

Well you have a point there. But training FT will train everybody, not just him, so it's beneficial for his team overall. But then many of his players will be replaced sooner or later, so in the long term, it won't be useful :P But I guess for now, it might not be a bad idea to train, if he doesn't have trainees etc.

As I looked at his roster, there is one 18 yo trainee. He should train him and find another very soon. Training FT for that weird bunch of players looks for me less usefull than single position training for that one 18 yo trainee as he is only one I expect to stay in his team in long term.

True. If he's promoting, he'll have to change his roster for sure.

LOL, Well have no great plans for this playey. No hurries on the team, as I understand a complete remake will need to be done to compete in higher level. You gotta play the cards your delt, however.

I just think it is strange that a guard who is a decent scorer for my team [not great] has yet to make a "free throw". Went something like 0/ 10 yesterday. Just appears to be a staticticaly anomialy. Go to a court and close your eyes and shoot 100 FT, I'll bet you hit at least 1! I just thought it was a strange stat, nothing more.

yes, it's strange and doesn't look logical, but it works like that here ;-)
