Yesterday evening, no matter if from home or inside the arena, our fans enjoyed a beautiful away win at dac collective, the same team who eliminated us from the Cup Tournament this season!
But this win is more beautiful and important than it seems at first sight. Belong to the revenge for that Cup game, practically, we saved ourselves from relegation to the third league. Though we still need to play the relegation games, we can say we will remain in the second league because our opponent is a bot team.
Jokeru managed very well the last part of the season 68. He calculated very well what our best chance was to ensure we remain in League II.3. And made the right steps to happen: transferred the right players, gave the right training and minutes to each player, chose the right tactic against our opponents, and calculated our opponents' chances to win their games. In one word: experience.
As we mentioned, calculating our opponents' chance to win their games gave us only one sure way to avoid relegation: to catch the 5th place! Because this one is the only place without a stronger opponent. And we achieved it yesterday in that televised game against dac collective, who now need to play against B.C. PIETROSANI, a stronger team. Of course, they have more chances now because their opponents showed their players' skills. And there is another important detail, but we will not expose it. Anyway, it will be an interesting duel. If dac collective will lose and be relegated, then we will laugh better than them!
For us now, after we saved our season, it comes only relaxation. And we prepared for the next season ( the target will not be the results, but some achievements ). For this, we need to make some changes to our roster as well. The first step in this way is to release Alessio ''Redbull'' Vigorito and Abdelbari "Abdul" Ridouane today. We thank them for helping us to achieve our target! So far, they don't know if they will quit playing basketball, because of their age (they will be 37 years old ). After the last scrimmage of the season, we will release Dušan "Capia" Čapek and Ermo "Cascatul" Kask as well. They will go free for us. Regarding the other players, we will see.
