Dexter Paul Tupas leads Suns past Raje in his last game for the team

Shizuoka, Japan -- All eyes on Dexter as he is set to transfer to Bulgaria barring any changes. In his last game for the team, he lead the Suns past Raje, 106-95, tallying a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds in 60% shooting.

"Dexter is a game-changer," GM Maro said. "he alone can turn the fortune of a franchise."

There were talks that he will be shelved for this game but Dexter insisted to play being the debut of the team for this season. Coach Doc obliged and "put the ball in his hands" and he didn't disappoint. "He was the best player out there, period. He is so versatile you can put him from 2-5."

Raje's Joaquin Casal led all scorers with 39 points. He also had 8 rebounds and 7 assists on 9/14 3FG shooting. However, it was Moises Taytay who matched his production for the Suns with a dominant 24 points and 19 rebounds in 45% FG shooting. "All eyes are on Dexter that's why the lane opened for me," Taytay said.

Taytay, along with Rosalia, are deemed underutilized players having to be in the shadow of the veteran core of the Suns. They will usher a new era, quite possibly a painful rebuilding season.

It was a close game as Raje were raining threes (16-30 3FG) but the Suns were more aggressive attempting 19 more free throws (16/23 compared to 2/4 of Raje's) and taking care of the ball (+25 rebounds).

From this day forward, Art Rosalia who had a decent production of 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists in 50% FG shooting, will figure prominently for the team. Or will Moises Taytay assert his dominance?

Tupas thanked the organization ands fans and said, "I truly had a wonderful time playing for the team. It is a very balanced team that it would be difficult for anyone to standout as they distribute the spotlight evenly." He joked, "if a player wants to be multiple allstar, don't join this team."
