Congratulations to Arsenio Monges for being an all-star this season!
From being a premier rebounder in Pilipinas League III.2, KOD's Arsenio Monges has his rightful spot as the Great 8's starting Center for this season's all-star game. Monges, 31, has been phenomenal this season so far averaging 12.7 PPG, 14.2 RPG, 3.6 APG, and 2.3 BPG all in 36.2 MPG played. These numbers are higher than his performance out of all the seasons he played for Kiss Of Death.
Kiss Of Death, with a record of 7-6 and currently at 4th place in the Great 8 standings, seems to be doing fine for now and is probably holding themselves for them to have a higher draft pick for the next season. The fanbase thinks that now is not the team's time for a deep playoff run and they expect the team to be average for the next 2-3 more seasons.
The team have good young players, and some players are on their prime, and also one player in particular, is nearing the end of his career. This player is Floyd Colico, 35, the team's leading player in APG with 8.6 APG. Colico said in an interview that with all that is going on with KOD, being shifted to the bench to see how their captain, Vince Plumb do at the PG position is a great start for the team's future and he is always there willing to help out in practices or even in season games where he is always ready to have his number called.
