One year after the founding, following clever acquisitions and luck, we have been crowned Champions of League Bulgaria IV.I. The toughest competition came in the SF against Dreammteamm (45098), whose shooting game was overcome behind an efficient 37 points (16-26) and 14 rebounds from the League MVP Martin Moffett.
We would like to thank our starting SG from last season, Arkady Smirennikov (third on the MVP vote, first in 6.9 APG and third in 14.9 PPG), for his contribution to the championship run. However, at 33 Arkady decided to pursue other challenges, and we hope he finds a good home. The team has made a decision to remedy the SG situation with an acquisition of Jarno Ferm, who we hope will live up to the task.
Going forward, we are putting emphasis on the development of our Center prospect, Petar Panayotov, who we hope will continue to show dramatic improvement from the first year.
