To the candidates:

I have a 6’0 23 year old MVP pot.
Without going into too much detail....
How would you curb his training for NT to be a contributor.

He is 10+ in every G skill
And 8+ in the big skills that matter.

How would you guide where he should end?

Bob and Falke are the two serious candidate and both appear to be solid choices. I’m just hoping whomever is chosen, the US NT fan base gets behind them. There has been (and still is in this thread) a vocal group who demand success right now, when anyone who takes a couple minutes and compared what other nations are bring to the table, you will see that the US is significantly behind. Sahand did a very good job getting us to the final round robin last season. It is ok to question some strategies, but our roster is just lacking.

Good luck to whomever wins, and I hope to hear from you soon!

Little vague on tbe specs arent we? I figure this is the guy you have coined as Dunkaholic. Now if you are hoping for a NT level baller i would say yack up his OD JS and JR. But to be honest i think this guy is at best a borderline candidate and to run up those expensive traits will eat up a lot of profit. but that aa a everyday club player he is someone who can be there though a run to d2 and at a much more easily maintained salary . OD HA and DR all seem too feed into each other and are all very salary efficent traits to pump up and there will still be plenty of room to still get some room on the shooting side of the equation. Oh and get him a couple more levels in passing though i would think tbats ancillary. this dude is going to be your gunner but not a trigger man.

Assuming he's on track with skills totals in general for 23, I see two things to figure out

1) Getting the inside skills to an acceptable level if not already. A manager with a player like that may not want to train out of position, so maybe seeing about training off season and allstar week.

2) Finding out what the manager wants the player to be on the rough spectrum of inside / combo / outside type guard. Then work backwards from there given the MVP potential to get the best skills for the type and potential.
