I hate to say it, but competing in D.IV, D.III, and D.II, and maybe even D.I though i haven't been there myself is not a fair comparison to the NT. It's like suggesting a prospect in the MLB is going to do great in the majors because they hit .400 in A, .377 in AA, and .343 in AAA and you project them to hit .280-.300 in most seasons in the majors because of it. And then you break it down into AB's versus pitchers that have high marks on movement pitches such as curveballs and sliders and sinkers, and those who are predominantly Fastball/Changeup pitchers, and all of a sudden his split against pitchers with plus movement stuff in AA is .232 and AAA is .203.
I don't think too much of comparing yourself to other managers on the NT team, because even those in the NBBA along side of you have ownership of current past or future NT talents. They've given up part of their team to make that happen, whereas you have not done so at all yet.
What probably bugs me about people in general that aren't on the offsite at all is that they say "This decision the NT manager made this, or this decision the U21 manager made on that, or this talent development on player x or y" like it's one guy. You are basically calling every single one of them out with your statements. Theres not a chance in the world you yourself have of coming into that room with all of those people and getting buy-in if you cannot get past the fact that the NT job is not a one man show. It is why those 11-15 votes put people like Isaiah in front of you. If you really have something to bring to the table, go on the offsite, get involved in the next two seasons in analyzing games like i do for the u21, and if you bring legitimate information and analytical skills of the game engine to the table, you being the NT manager in the near future wouldn't be that unreasonable.
to chek: Isaiah doesn't need me to defend him from a forum troll or two. I'd rather try and get some sort of commitment out of one newer managers who has shown interest by answering their questions and hoping they might visit the offsite some time, maybe someone else who has commented once or twice that isn't on the offsite yet, and then the one other person who legitimately wants to bring something to the NT manager role at some point in the future. If even one of the three is on board by the end of the debate thread, then we have gained something out of it. I'd really like all three, i think i all of them are capable of bringing up the level of play in the competition at a club level as well as potentially all either being good at training up Nt prospects or helping tactics in the team. As for my vote, it's obvious based on what i've said that i've now made up my mind on this election.
