Brian Seal marvelous play led Slingers BC for 46-27 lead midway on 2nd quarter. The lead ballooned to 25 at third, and once again National Stadium is emptied by dissapointed fans. Fourth quarter were worse, as Jaguar surprisingly not able to score everywhere on the floor, and the visitor escaped with an easy win.
Playing their Taiwanese star Chan Ren Qing surronded with some scrubs, HXS made it like a bad decision. CRQ were hounded by HXS all night and had a nightmare shooting game, even though he has a pretty good form. With their key player deadlocked, none of Jaguar players able to provide stable scoring, even Arnaud Bonnet, who shot 7/23 FG and 0/7 from 3PT. CRQ led Jaguars with 15 points and 17 rebs, but shot only 7/19 FG. Bidzina Kasradze led Slingers BC with 24 points, Seal had 17 and HXS, who was groomed by manager Bigben in the past, scored 14 points, 9 boards and 3 blocks, all on CRQ. HXS greeted Bigben during and after the game.
At Pwint2 arena, SHP seems inspired by Jaguar too, find a way to lose at their own homecourt from Singapore Showstoppers 114-72. SHP only dress five players, and managed to knock down Ong Yi Ying and Zheng Chen Yu. Luckily both player are fine and cleared to play on next game.
