I just want your guys opinion; I was thinking maybe I should just try my luck and nominate myself to coach one of the lower NT?
I don't expect to get elected but I think it couldn't hurt to try. I think I would benefit from the experience, because I would gain some sort of understanding of what it takes to run a NT for Australia in the VERY DISTANT future. I think I would learn a lot from the experience. But yeah would like everyone 2 cents on this.
You guys know me, I like to think I'm an optimistic character and say I did get elected, could I count on the Aussie Vets (who have helped me immensly already) to guide me through the journey and "groom" me into a decent NT coach that the Aussie Community would be proud of?
Also would this take away from my "all Aussie" approach (if you will) by coaching another country besides Aus. Because if you guys do think so and it comes back to bite me in the behind later, then I will not do it...

good idea im the coach of barbados & it is a lot of fun but a big challenge too

if u won the election for some small country id be happy to help u avoid some of the traps

id suggest u get supporter so u can have a federation to record all ur scouting details easily onsite

maybe take a look @ the 20 worst teams see if there is a good incumbent & if not choose 1 & go for it

Thanks for the offer. I cannot afford supporter atm but I would do whatever it took (eg write everything down) to get all the details I needed. And umm what do you mean by "a good incumbent"? Sorry I'm still in school haha

someone who is already in the job & doing it well

if you have a good coach who is doing well why replace him right?

instead look for a nation where they are doing badly & the coach has a low approval rating
