Went away at half time from my game content with an 8 point lead. Came back at the end to find out i lost by 13 including losing the last quarter 41-22. So far my games have been high scoring shootouts. Tough start to the season but hopefully i can notch my first win soon.

Sneaky win for All-Sorts, certainly looked like you had it in the bag. Lets just hope you aren't ready to notch that first win on Saturday! ;-)

Though I won easily, my last quarter was quite a turn around with my bench on the court. Really took away from my PD boost which is a little annoying but can't really complain with a good away win.

After looking at the other leagues, we're probably ranked 3rd overall. Div II.1 and Div II.4 both have a number of teams salaries over $400k and far fewer below $300k. Helps when we avoid ABBL relegates each season. Unfortunately we're probably due to hit the motherload next season (yep, Smeltztroopers).

according to the ratings 2/3 is a lot tougher than any other div with 2/1 only 2nd best but still way ahead of 2/2 and then 2/4

That's obviously based on country rank and therefore it is severely flawed. CR is based highly on a team's performance in the Cup and as we've not yet started this season's Cup, those rankings are based on last season. Beechy is a perfect example, no way is he ranked 18 but the CR has not yet been properly updated.

Obviously rankings are way flawed but really so is any public knowledge. Look at a team like Beechy for example, they are loaded and stacked and choose to tank for a while. What rating system can judge them? What if later in the season they do a HA and suddenly buy a $750,000 roster and force their way to the ABBL through economic, not basketball, might. I think their current salaries do not reflect their potential to be dangerous, nor do their ratings reflect how low they may sink while tanking. Both are fun, but flawed measures and I find them interesting, but far from definitive.
