Amazing. Never had a pop in a player over 30 except in FTs!

As far as I observed, between 27-31, there is not so much skill pop or loss and after 31, players tend to lose skills. But it depends on the player, trainer, training type and maybe some other random factor. My 33 yo guard had a skill pop yesterday (outside defense) while my 34 yo forward almost lost all his skills in 1,5 season.

I dont know how many would go as far to congratulate you on your findings. All I will say is that you need to change your training so that you are not discovering this type of information out!!!

A 33yo popping in OD has got to be a BB record.... I will give him 6 weeks before he pops back down again!!

My 33yo wasn't the one whom I meant to train but see there is no logical explanation sometimes, and he may even pop down next week which is fine. And to be frank, I couldn't get exactly what u meant by "All I will say is that you need to change your training so that you are not discovering this type of information out!!!" Can you clear that suggestion a little bit for me?

Sorry if i was jumping the gun and implying you meant to train him... let me rephrase to..... i hope you never find out any more information like this!!! stick with the 18-22yo's and see if you can help add to the known training speeds of these fellas and in turn improve your roster as efficiently as possible!

.. but I reckon around 27-28 your players start dropping relatively fast. (2-4 drops a season perhaps)

This seems a bit exagerrated. The youngest I have had a guy pop down other than stamina is 31. Not saying this is normal, but I dont think 2-4 drops per season for a 28 year old is normal either. 2 of my three over 30's had a skill drop last season, the other did not.

I was really surprised myself. I was sorely disappointed that he dropped that point less than a week after I picked him up for some depth but hopefully he'll maintain his shooting level for a while now. =)

I have had multiple players < 25y/o have a downward pop (outside of stamina). Driving (21y/o 5 to 4), handling (23 y/o 6 to 5) and rebounding (24 y/o 7 to 6). The next time I trained them, they popped back up, so there is a minimal decrease potential every week. There were no injuries or over playing in these situations that I remember.
