You'd think there has to be at least 5 decent rookies, right?

Don't jinx it, that's how you end up having a 2000-esque NBA draft where you only get 1-2 superstar potential guys :D

Between school and school

The worst place to be! (guessing you meant work & school?)

Nope, school is love, school is life. Ugh.

I'd be fine drafting a perennial all-star potential guy with really high starting skills.

Anyway, you've fallen behind 2 teams now! It's looking like the highest you'll be drafting is 4th overall... Assuming that you're still trying to avoid auto-relegation.

Nothing against P. all-star potential guys, but I want to draft a player and make him a balanced monster or a specialist of some sort without worrying about hitting his cap (at least until he's 26 or so).

I would say I'm half-trying to avoid relegation. First pick or fourth, I'm sure I'll draft a decent enough player to train or sell for a decent amount.

My guy Vasquez is #15 world in FG attempts, but the Nomads have him in serious 1st half foul trouble. I'm giving you an easy win, let him be!

Anyway, i'm going to CT the rest of my games. Meant to start tonight, but forgot.

You're already 3 games back of 7th place, plus way behind in PD too. So it's looking like we're both ending up in D4 next season!

It's cool as long as I get a decent prospect from the draft. Plus, D4 has gone down in terms of competition.

I thought you might try to lose our game... instead you're up 30 points after only 1 quarter.

I knew this might happen. A guy on the U21 plus a couple bench players will do that to you.

In retrospect you could've played him all 48 min in the scrimmage instead. And maybe as an out of position backup in the league game, just for GS purposes.

Knew my guy Johnie Vazquez wouldn't be an all-star... but hoped he'd at least get a few votes
Averaging about 35 ppg and over 12 reb/game. and #14 world in shots taken.

Nice job in the cup, BTW. Almost made it past all-star week.
