Congrats and good luck. My team wasn't a match to you even though the game proved to be close.

Hi yall, taking over a team in your league. My name is Jesse, I am running the Wilmington Tiger Sharks and wanted to introduce myself. I am new to this game, so I am probably going to be the doormat for a while. See you guys around!

Hello, and welcome to our league. Apologies if you get curbstomped a lot. That's just how it is sometimes in BB. Good luck and hope you stick around!

Thanks, I'm going to try and get some older guys with skills and get a win here and there...as long as I can get my prospects enough training. Yup, got beaten by 60 points in my 1st game...it wasn't pretty.

Thank you for the welcome...I do like the game a lot.

If possible, I would advise you to try and find 2 players with star or allstar potential, and that are 18 or 19. Make sure that you train only guards or bigs. A young manager trying to do both may end up wasting time and money. Also, buying older players isn't advisable, as players 33 and over start losing skills. If you have doubts on something, read the game manual, and if you can't find an answer there, ask in the forums.

I have an 18 yo HoF center prospect, and I'm focusing training on him and his backup allstar center.

Once I get them both 48 minutes of PT doing that training, am I free to train other prospects?

If you are trying to train players, especially if you are a new manager, it's a good idea to have a maximum of 2 trainees. You aren't restricted to training a player, per se. Just make sure both guys get their 48 at C when training Inside shot/defense and shot blocking. If you are training rebounding or One on One Forwards, they can get their 48 from PF and C. If you want more help, I'll be more than willing to do so through BB-Mail.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate the help and the offer.

I'll be sure to shoot you a question if I get stumped. Look forward to hopefully not getting booted from the league, lol!
