Charles, by "complete lineup" do you mean "filling in every position in the depth chart" (which can be done with 5 or more players, repeating names) or "send 12 players" ?

I have 10 players but one of them is on sale..should I buy 3 players to have a 12 player roster?
I don't think that repeating names on rotation could change something..because in my last match I choose the starting five..I choose also 3 players in rotation repeating the other 2..and my starting five was composed by 3 ghost players and 2 of the right starting five..
I'm sorry..my english is not so good..probably there are a lot of grammatical mistakes

edit:
this was my lineup:
starting five:
PM: Gosselin
SG: Foletto
SF: Baptista
PF: Gallucci
C: Ortiz

rotation:
PM: Gosselin
SG: Foletto
SF: Magrao (now sold out)
PF: Polignino
C: Pica

others:
PM: Gosselin
SG: Foletto
SF: Poudrier
PF: Polignino
C: Pica

From what I understand a complete lineup should be is a full depth chart.

Starters, backups and reserves are all filled in. I have played games with less than 12 in the possible lineup and never had a problem.

Repeating names to fill spaces is crucial in my opinion

By the look of your lineup choices I would say the problem came in at your PG and SG positions because you have set them the same all the way through the depth chart. If they get hurt or need a break and have to come out they don't have any replacement and a Lucky Fan will enter.

Mmh..
It happened during a match last week..my SG got injured and another player entered..and in garbage time as usual other players (even they weren't in starters..backups or reserves) entered..
Only during last saturday match there was this problem..I've always chosen the same lineup..with 9 players..2 without substitutes in order to give them 48 minutes..first of all for training and in the end because my SG is my best player..
I think that there was a problem with the new game engine..but I'm a damn idiot about all the things related to PC..AI and similar things
I hope that this tuesday during the first round of the playoff grid there will be everything ok..!
I think I will put on the line 12 players..(mmh..I gotta buy 3 players)..but on the same lineup division..PG and SG must stay in court for all time..except in case of injury..foul troubles..or garbage time..as usual..

2 without substitutes in order to give them 48 minutes

without substitutes or themselves as substitutes??? big difference one is incomplete lineup and one is not

I have never had a Lucky Fan come in as far as I remember. I have used less than 12 players on the court.

my mistake..sayin' "without substitutes" I would like to say "themselves as a substitutes"
My lineup was always complete..and I've never had a Lucky Fan come in too..

i accept what you are saying in the case of a team that submits 4 players only. you need 5 to play basketabll, fair enough, but i fail to undestand the rationale behind ignoring other players in the bench if I have 10 of them sitting in the bench.
can you imagine any coach in the world that look at the players sitting in the bench and that decides to call the 6'2'' guy drinkin a coke nearby to go and play center? i can't...
that looks loke a bug to me, just tell us you are going to modify it and everybody will be happy.

regards

i agree, but a complete lineup for a basketball team is 5, if i remeber my basketball days.

i think it shouldn't be difficult to implement a system that picks up players in the bench if the starting five are fouled out or injured.

having peple walkin in from the audience should'n t be possible at all.

if somebody submit a lineup with 4< players just make it a default victory for the player with the complete lineup, even though I can't see that happening often unless in the case of bot teams.

just my 5 cents, you've got a very good game here don't spoil it with silly things.
