JS and RB are very expensive skills for SF in terms of potential. If you want him to be useful even at top level you should sacrifice one of them I am afraid.

the reason why those skills are expensive for that position, is because they are important for that position.
so not sure it's wise to sacrifice one of them...

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

Sorry if this is a dumb question because i am still fairly new to this game, but why does my SF need rebounding? My PF and Center have and can in the future pick up the slack for him, so whats the point?.... Jump shot i can understand that i need it but rebounding...

for jump shot you can argue that your PG, SG, SF, C could take his load in the offense, which is in my eyes even easier then letting the C win a rebounding battle betwen the two SF.

Sure you can also compensate it with better rebounding bigs, but on center the skill is more expensiv and the salary raise is potential. So it is much more expensiv when you go for just two rebounders.

y, the 2 above me already said it.

this game is all about matchups, but especially (offensive-)boards are also a team-issue with boxing-out etc. you are right when u said pf and c position matter most for rebounding, but all positions are included here. for teamsalary (and the skillcap of your frontcourt) example: sf reb12 (instead of 10), pf, c reb18 (instead of 19) it may be nice to add some reboundskill on your sf (and your guards of cause) instead of let your frontcourt do all the work.

this said: rebounding is important at all positions, depending on your teambuild. but i agree with wolph, it also costs a lot of salary and skill. your choice. there are several ways to control the boards.
