Upsyndrome had a VERY EASY group stage schedule which is why he is undefeated in BBB. We have to wait until the knockout stage to see if they can do well against the better teams.

Well, there is that, and the fact that his team is awesome, right??

True. Screw that guy. I'm a big fan of Kearney and Isom though. twenty-one U21 NT games between them while I was coaching us to gold medals.

I've been checking his game results with the same thought in mind. Only one top-100 opponent and none in the top 25 is very fortunate. Of course, I'm still rooting for A-dub all the way, I just know there's definitely a lot of work left to be done.

Should probably be glad the top 32 doesn't start today; out of curiosity I did a little poking through the standings a few minutes ago and if the current order stood, he'd be the 7 seed which is wonderful, but he'd have the possibility of facing a top-20 team in every single round (including the current world #1 in the quarterfinals)

Thankfully there's still 2 games to play for seeding. Give 'em all ya got, Upsyndrome!

More Brilliant criticism from a team that has accomplished nothing about a team who has. Upsyndrome has a bot team on their upcoming B3 schedule so there should be a chance to add 150-200 PD to his total and help his seeding; which I guess is something to be so thankful for because apparently 7th seed isn't very impressive or beneficial...hmmmmm

"he'd be the 7th seed which is wonderful"

I've already acknowledged how amazing it is that an American team is sitting 7th in the standings. And quite frankly, I think the fact his team jumped from D5 to the B3 in 7 seasons (and he was actually relegated from the very league I'm currently in as part of his tanking) is possibly the most impressive thing I've seen in my years of Buzzerbeater.

I'm merely noting that in this particular circumstance a 7 seed would lead to him having a particularly difficult path through the top 32, and saying that it's fortunate that the top 32 standings are likely to change some more between now and when the elimination round starts.

Actually, upon closer inspection, I didn't actually say anything critical about A-dub or his performance in this tournament. And how could I? he's won every game, that's all we can ask of him.

Not at all....I just find it irritating that A-Dub (who is my rival and and in my way for Gold trophies, so I would love to see his team bus get blown up) is having all the success he is having, couldn't be doing any better in the B3 than he is doing, is 7th seed which is fantastic and the only comments are expressing how tough his path will be.

First, especially with a Bot on his schedule, seeding is far from finished...and 2nd, if 7th seed is not a favorable path to competing for it all, then i don't know what is. It just surprises me that with all his success, and the fact that his path is more favorable going forward than any other USA team ever has been at this point, and yet still, guys just want to talk about the obstacles in his path.

I think his success should be celebrated and cheered, and let the future chips fall where they fall.

I think it's good for D4 and D3 teams to look ahead to teams in the B3 and think critically about how they're doing, even if they don't necessarily have the tenure and experience to realize how special A-Dubs run is and that it is most likely going to surpass even Brian's runs in the past, despite his utter dominance of USA play. It's hard to see how difficult B3 is for USA teams.

He has my support though! I think his rebuild process has been incredible and he's done a fantastic job. Maybe some of us can go to the game and paint A - D U B on our chests. Dibs on the dash.

I totally agree! But when things are about 98% as good as they can possibly be, I think negative talk is unwarranted. Some people just like to complain or focus on negativity. Not much to complain about with A-Dubs B3 run thus far.
