Well, I guess we will finally see what my team is made of. It could turn out to be a bust, and I have a bad feeling that it will be just that....

Either Smallfries or myself will win. Thx to the other 4 people who voted for me - I am surprised and appreciative.

Tech Fouls is great, but Smallfries has too much talent. Another week to coalesce and a 3 game series will be to his advantage.

Or maybe Reston will beat me. Its been a great season - very competitive.

I just want to see you promote so we don't have to face off again 2x's next season. :) It is sort of hard to cheer against Reston though, I remain fascinated that his team remains so darn good despite the advanced age of his players. The power forward I picked up 2 weeks ago jumped up to strong game shape, leading me to believe that the recovery curve is not as severe as expected. If this theory holds true, another week of game shape improvements has to tilt the odd's in Small Fries favor. I think they become a really tough out in a three game series.

Oops, I actually meant to say I wanted to see Technical Fouls promote so that I didn't have to face them 2x's next season. As a matter of fact, I'd be quite happy to see all 4 of the semi-finalists promote so that I don't have to play any of them next season.

Yea GS goes up quick. My SG jumped from average GS to proficient this week. So that's 3 levels.

I agree with Dmitri. I feel like a three game series not only would benefit my team, but also Delta 9. That's not saying Technical fouls and Reston are bad. They are damn good teams. The feeling could just come from the facy they we only play the great 8 side once so we don't really know the other teams well.

Regardless, it's been one of the funner seasons I have had on BB and I'm looking forward to tomorrow's games.

It's only a scrimmage for me, but I'm looking forward to seeing how my team plays tonight as well. I feel good about next season right now. Really good.

After watching the GS updates and smallfries's performance on the road, I am going into this final series knowing that if I can somehow push it to 3 games and not get swept, I can consider it a partially successful series. I tried making another bid at the end of the season for a guard, but couldn't get online when the guys I wanted had bid times ending. I doubt it would make a difference. I doubted the GS effect would rebound so fast and was hesitant, just like almost everyone else of us... except smallfries.

He actually messaged me with more than 3 games to go in the season telling me his plan was to beat me in the finals to advance. Looks like he had a plan and it is working wonders. We still have to play the games and hopefully my foul happy team got it all out of there system against Reston. Unless he has at least 1 big injury early in game 1, this might be a bit more than my team can handle. Hopefully I can make it entertaining for everybody.

Trust me, this will be a lot closer than everyone thinks. Im still not sure about my team. Its good, but the talent is limited to a select few, so if an injury does happen I dont stand a chance.

As far as the GS goes, I made my moves believing GS could be trained up just like any other time, and it can be. The GS hit isn't permanent, which I believe it should be. That would take away these types of possibilities. I took advantage of it, but Im not sure it will continue to be this easy to basically buy wins.

Anyways, I want to wish you good luck in the championship.

The very thing you were afraid of actually worked in your favor. My team obviously sucks at free throws despite what their skills say. Definitely changed the outcome of this game.

Also, 4th quarter I gave up way too many assists.

Great 1st game Lathrop. Looking forward to game two and pushing this series back to your place.

Wow, what an interesting game. I was able to watch it in entirety delayed. Undrus and Easley were sitting on 5 fouls a piece for a LONG time and at one point 4 starters had 5 fouls each. It could have ended very differently. Hitting 21 of 24 FT was massive and the best % of the season for me. Almost a perfect storm for my guys, fouling enough with you missing enough FT while finding a way to stay in the game to keep playing. Not sure if that can happen again, but I would love to see it.

Game 2 will definitely be interesting. Should be another entertaining back and forth game. Of course, I am just saying that because HCA is massive and I fear getting blown out....

If anybody is on watching live and wondering why my shot distribution looks so wonky, I went with outside isolation with full court press. Figured I couldn't win on the road, so might as well have some fun. 5 mins in, everybody already tuned out...
