You can only get credit for one type of training per week. Wait until you see the announcement from your trainer that he has completed the weekly training... then pick the training type for the following week.

Okay thanks.

Also, how do you know when you`re players are about to "get a pop" on their stats.

Much appreciate the help.

You can't be sure when players will pop. Check out the Training Speed analysis thread (In this Forum, go to Important threads and click on Training Speed Analysis) which tells you what trains what and how long it takes to train (approximately).

Thanks. Does it matter how many players you are trainning in the chosen positions? I am trainning PF and Cs in shotblocking and am tainning five players. Someone told me that trainning five players is a good number. I`d really like to train 6 players. 3 Pfs and 3 Cs. If you train more players in the positions does the effect of trainning decrease and if you train less players does the effect of trainning increase? I know that each player has to have a minimum of 48 minutes but I can train 3 Pfs and 3 Cs by using the minutes.

For example if I train 2 Pfs and 3Cs will the effect of trainning be better on them than if I train 3 Pfs and 3 Cs.

Thanks.

Number of players doesn't have any affect on training. 1 position training is the most effective followed by 2 position training. 1 position training allows you to give full training (48 minutes) to up to 3 players. 2 position training allows you to give full training to up to 6 players. So it is up to you which training best suits your team.

To answer your question directly, if you train 2 Pfs and 3Cs the effect of training will be exactly the same per player as if you trained 3 Pfs and 3Cs. The only difference in the second case is that 1 more player gets training.

Thanks folks, that`s brilliant, my questions answered perfectly. So I`ll train three PFs and three Cs.

The plan is to play my starting C and PF and their young reserves in the two league games, sharing the minutes so that after two games those four players have 48 mins. each. Then in the cup or scrimmage games I`ll play the two young reserves for the entire game for their 48 mins. The two young reserves are players that I will train up to sell on.

I hope that that`s a good strategy.

Many thanks for all your help.

Scipio.

Each game you should have 2 players play 48 minutes at C and PF (1 at each position). Don't put a starter and backup in, and then switch them in the second game to balance the minutes. The reason for this is because if you switch them in the second game, it is unlikely that the minutes will be split the same. So you might end up with 2 players on 50 minutes and 2 players on 46 minutes after the second game.

Goodluck!

Okay, thanks for that.

So basically because I want to train six players 3 at PF and 3 at C then all I need to do is play 1 PF and 1 C in each of the three games in one week so that my six players each play one entire game during the week.

I had thought of doing that but by not playing my first choice PF and C in each of the league games I will be weakening the team for the second league game by playing my second choice PF and C. I guess that`s pat of the game though, tryin to balance developing young players with winning games.

Thanks for all of your help it`s greatly appreciated.

No worries. Just remember that as you train them up, your players get better, so it might weaken your games at first, but soon it will strengthen them.

Every player who plays 48 minutes gets the maximum training they can get at 2 position SB based on the their age and height, regardless of how the other minutes at those two positions are distibuted. There is an increase If you 1 position train a skill, but then the maximum you can train is 3 players.
