I've gotta give a shout out to Droids, who has easily been the most impressive American team in cup play since the beginning of S21. He's made it to the Sweet 16 of the cup twice in three years and during that span has beaten a growing list of top teams including:

- Visionaries (last night)
- World Idea Toys
- Myopic Marauders
- EDH Wolves
- Hayward Lumberjacks
- Toronto Traptors
- Bloom County Boingers

Oh, and this has almost all been done while in III or IV. Nicely done sir.

Yeah, that is a pretty impressive list of win's to rack up over the course of a couple of seasons. Nice job! In other news of note, it would appear that the Warriors have upgraded with a rather nice purchase.

This team finally has its 1st hall of fame talent to build around. This kid is raw. Def need a few seasons to round up. But at 22, this is a young Tim Duncan. With a superstar talent center to support him. This is the beg of the twin tower era. The team plans on saving capital for the next two seasons and internally improve, as soon as it can afford two more quality guards after the next season. We will be ready to contend. So let the rebuild begin

Well, as your training him, don't forget that Tim Duncan can make free throws and has stamina. Nothing more dissapointing to me than seeing a capable big man with awful stamina and free throw ratings.

Additionally, Duncan always maintains his Game Shape at a level that I'd call proficient. Anything less would be a disappointment.

:) maintaining game shape is not always as easy as it seems.

How much of a difference do you guys think that you are seeing with blocks now that the new game engine is in place? I did some rough math on my part and am averaging around 2 more a game. My game tonight is going to competely scew that number as I believe that I'm approaching 20 for the game, but, no offense intended, that's against USA Elite and not a fair comparison to overall performance.

Preibys (Reston) just posted his 5th straight 20+ game. He had to be a beast in his prime.

I have noticed a lot of a difference to the overall defense of my team. The ratings haven't changed, but I have noticed SB has made a difference to player ratings.

Interesting. Honestly, I had not given it much thought or study until I racked up 26 blocks. I don't care about who your playing, I don't think I've ever seen the game engine generate quite that level of dominance.

Yea I've always seen the difference SB can make, but now I feel SB has just become more important overall to stopping the inside. In my private league game against an opponent with a better inside offense to my inside defense only score in the 70s for points. They had like a prolific inside team scoring, but I firmly believe it's my SB that stopped it.

However I think it is now too good and if players have the right amount of SB they will be able to stop even the top teams and everyone will transition to more of a base offense or outside offense.

I think in the long run PTB will be the best offense to use.
