What's up y'all. I work with Jimmy from Rip City and I have to say that I'm pretty jealous that my D.III league forum has 5 posts in it. He talks about how active his forum is and it is brutally quiet in III.15. I have seen some of the most indepth analysis' on games, teams, history etc., in this forum and I'm glad to know Rip and I aren't the only ones that are this addicted! Kudos.

What's up harv, I feel sorry for you, i know how it feels to be in a boring league. I also feel sorry for you because of how unlucky the blazers have been, greg oden was finally playing up to expectations and then bam he's done, and the injuries just continued. As for me I'm a laker fan, so our only problems are pau gasol's hamstring, and the big 7 foot pile of crap that is andrew bynum

I came up with the following for players of the "day"

on 1/2/2010

Chow from the Gavno 31 pts
17 bds
5 asts

My runner up can't overlook someone who drops 1 short of a 50 spot.

From Prov

Carmona 49 pts
3 asts
6 bds

I mean come on who wants to guard him. Can you say Smiley's (from Divine Dragon last season) cousin.

On 1/5/2010

I chose from the Illusion

Statovci 26 pts
27 bds
3 asts
3 blocks
1 steal

Honorable mentions to Ryan, Egozi, and Mayagoitia all 4 of these guys were beasts this day.

I am going to move this to a new thread so we can keep this separate.

Thanks for the sentiments Russ. It has been a rough year for injuries for sure, but this builds character and even with all the problems we are still scrapping and have a 23-15 record (after tonight's 9th straight win at home over the Lakers, sorry!). My forum is lame, but i suppose i can try and live vicariously through Jimmy. Good luck man!

It was a great day to be a Blazer fan.

Oh I'll take the PL win tonight too. Harv is killing me in this Private League.

Coming down to earth tomorrow @ Booshes. Back to reality.

Do private league minutes count towards training? If not, what's the advantage?

no it doesn't. you play PL for fun or trying new strategies against different teams.

Thanks Hawks. Blazers have been unlucky, but it builds character! My BB team "Oden's Ravens" is going through some injury difficulty right now with a 4 week injury to my starting SF...he's down to 3 weeks now, but i had never seen one over 2 weeks before...What is the longest anyone has seen a player be down for injury?

Harv

PS. A sports writer from the LA Times referred to the Rose Garden (Blazers arena) as the "Torture Chamber" for the Lakers...I may have to change my arena name now...RIP CITY!
