Hey you...GM-Fatcurry and BB-Edju. Can you please take your little girl fight somewhere else. This is a thread for intellectual debate.

@Coco
Missed your earlier post. I really don't see myself being at a disadvantage tactically to Bobos. Just a matter of opinion. I honestly don't know much about Bobo beside that he has been in either NBBA or D2 since I started playing. His team never jumped off the screen enough for me to investigate it to figure out what was happening. I can't really speak to what he lacks, but I know that his experience in D2 and NBBA is not a huge advantage for him over my experiences.

@Bobo - How fast can you get up to speed? 7 months is a long time, but the U21 schedule is already out, you have no scrimmage next week and little idea who the players are (based on what you said)

@both - what about your own teams? how are you going to pull double duty?

I could get up to speed in a few days. I would have to consult with the current regime and take lots of notes. There are a number of tools that I have already browsed through and found some quality pieces that would be fine through the first part of the bracket. I am concerned about the top U21 center being for sale now and hope whoever owns the guy can maintain some sort of GS.

I did get to scout players from the other teams and know this seasons team will not have the cake walk season 12 did.
You are right - there is no scrimmage and I can't answer why there isn't and won't go there.

As for the younger players, I would say by the end of qualifications - most of the potentials out there would of been contacted. The challenge for me is I would probably try to talk to them all too quickly instead of a nice even flow. I would want realistic and consistent expectations, not flash in the pan show up in the beginning energized ones.

As for Bobo's Playhouse - they are in a retooling mode with money and talent. My post game has been left intact and that with their salary reductions let me breathe a little easier. Look for them to make more moves to get some depth. It's always harder to pull double duty with teams and it's my expectation neither will be neglected as I am planning to stay as active as possible. It's easy to do when you have money, but when you lose life gets a lot better away from the game.

I also see you came into a nice little addition. An 18 year old with a legendary last name.

99% of the scouting should be done by the time elections end, and if I do not win I'm going to be helping bobo as much as he will let me. =D

And we now have a scrimmage.

Scouting as in US or World?

It's all good Jelme. We are on the same side - the US and we should help each other out. I would be more than happy to support you should you win your second term. The same goes if someone other than us wins.

@Both If you could have a dominant Inside Team with a good guard SF, or a dominant Guard team with a good big man SF, which would you chose, and why? There in no middle answer so pick one.

Doesn't change the fact that your about as good of a manager as Isiah Thomas. You "claimed" that your team sucked because you focused on the NT yet once you stopped you team managed to demote shortly after..

Nah he is better than Isiah. Have you seen the Knicks.......Atleast JP won once and but a foundation for the US NT teams to follow.

Scouting of American players ages 18-21. Always miss some people, but most of the guys should be in the db and up to date.

Your question needs more clarity.

What are the secondaries for the pf and c? Are they passers, drivers, or dunkers?
What is their OD?
What is the ID of the guard and the OD of the forward that would be playing SF?
What is their stamina?
What level are you playing at?
What is their Game Shape?
Are they playing the same position both offensively and defensively?

The face value answer says a dominant Inside Team with a good guard - when you look at all the offenses and defenses you can play, 3 guards fits more permutations effectively than 3 big men do.
To give any further answer without knowing the answers to the questions I asked leaves you without knowing some key information. The game has evolved beyond those static answers.

Interesting did you know the name of your team is of a Soccer Drible and not a Basketball Dribble?

As a fellow demotee, what did you learn from your demotion and how is it going to help team USA?
