I looked in the rules, but I'm still a little unclear. If a team wins the first two games of the division finals is the third game played, or not? It seems like the rules suggest it isn't played because after all, it is a "tie"-breaker. But the game is still on my schedule so I thought I'd ask.

When the standings update happens the game should be removed.

It is there so you can set your lineup, just in case. And then its removed if it is not necessary.
