I sort of get you but what I'm really trying to get is that the effect of me playing normal and him playing CT should be pretty much the same since I have superior enthusiasm to begin with

By what you're saying since my enthusiasm is 8 and I play normal, it will be 8.

He play CT so his enthusiasm will move up from 5 to around 8 for the game so its pretty much the same enthusiasm as mine.

Am i correct?

No, since he is playing CT his enthusiasm will be higher. And since your playing normal yours will be exactly 8.

i think effort and enthusiam works a different way, but is there really a different betwenn ct vs normal, and normal vs tie?

I have very less experience with ct'd games, but with the first look i would say the different counts the same.

I totally agree with you. I think enthusiasm and effort work in different ways, and from my experience (and I've consulted some friends that have been here since early season 3) CT vs Normal and normal vs TIE are pretty much the same.

Foul-wise, FT%-wise? Probably.

I don't know but I wouldn't surprise it is different. As it is stated somewhere PO normal acts like Normal except enthusiam.

I also think that the exact details here don't matter too much, as both scenarios being discussed would be about the same.

Let's assume that your enthusiasm is 8, and your opponent is at 5. Let's assume that you play playoff normal, and your opponent plays playoff crunch time.

If playoff normal is like regular normal in terms of effort, you stay at 8. If playoff crunch time is like regular crunch time in terms of effort, your opponent moves up to about 8; so, you end up about even.

If playoff normal is like regular TIE in terms of effort, you go down to about 5. In this scenario, playoff crunch time would be like regular normal, and your opponet stays at 5; again, you end up about even.

The only thing that I can say for certain is that after the game, playing playoff normal will have the enthusiasm effect of a regular season TIE. Simlarly, after the game, playing playoff crunch time is like playing regular season normal. However, due to how similar the two above scenarios are (when it comes to effort during the game), then it makes the most sense to not worry about the details much.

Peronally, I just look at it as Playoff normal = regular season TIE, and Playoff Crunch time = regular season normal.
