I change them all the time to avoid stamina going down and to try to keep game shape up.. I tend to think it is my downfall.. I started only 1 of my starters vs. Rip and look where it got me..

Yeah. I've typically had a set starting lineup for League games while the backups and the remaining players tend to start the Scrimmages. I've never placed great emphasis on the Cup Games for some reason. It used to be a while back my backups would actually perform quite well in the Cup Games and would take my team pretty far. I made it pretty far in the Cup Tourney a few seasons back using just my backups as the starting lineup while my typical starters sat.

PG - Clinton Cantrell
SG - Lorenzo Capps
SF - Lowell Webber
PF - Rotating Player because I can't seem to find one that sticks out; Bobby Dorman has played most minutes at PF though
C - Vernan Partridge

That was my typical starting lineup but the age of Capps is starting to play a factor in my decisions in that I will be either deciding to sell him and start fresh with a younger SG. My lineup is actually quite young now with Capps being the star veteran and Cantrell being the reliable leader (except for that short stint on the IR) along with Webber.

What's up y'all. I work with Jimmy from Rip City and I have to say that I'm pretty jealous that my D.III league forum has 5 posts in it. He talks about how active his forum is and it is brutally quiet in III.15. I have seen some of the most indepth analysis' on games, teams, history etc., in this forum and I'm glad to know Rip and I aren't the only ones that are this addicted! Kudos.

What's up harv, I feel sorry for you, i know how it feels to be in a boring league. I also feel sorry for you because of how unlucky the blazers have been, greg oden was finally playing up to expectations and then bam he's done, and the injuries just continued. As for me I'm a laker fan, so our only problems are pau gasol's hamstring, and the big 7 foot pile of crap that is andrew bynum

I came up with the following for players of the "day"

on 1/2/2010

Chow from the Gavno 31 pts
17 bds
5 asts

My runner up can't overlook someone who drops 1 short of a 50 spot.

From Prov

Carmona 49 pts
3 asts
6 bds

I mean come on who wants to guard him. Can you say Smiley's (from Divine Dragon last season) cousin.

On 1/5/2010

I chose from the Illusion

Statovci 26 pts
27 bds
3 asts
3 blocks
1 steal

Honorable mentions to Ryan, Egozi, and Mayagoitia all 4 of these guys were beasts this day.

I am going to move this to a new thread so we can keep this separate.

Thanks for the sentiments Russ. It has been a rough year for injuries for sure, but this builds character and even with all the problems we are still scrapping and have a 23-15 record (after tonight's 9th straight win at home over the Lakers, sorry!). My forum is lame, but i suppose i can try and live vicariously through Jimmy. Good luck man!
