For me i'd take a 5 star unknowns before the 5 star, 3 potential 18 year olds. A 3 potential guy u could train but not long term. As for whether there is 5 star, 5 potentials in every draft in every draft i havn't seen anything to say there is.

Yeah true i guess 3 is the cutoff. If it was 5 star, 2 potential i would definetly put the 5 star unknowns ahead but 3 potential probably makes u think a little. Depends how high you want to aim and how much risk u want to take.

Yeah not too sure myself on that one. If you guys are more experienced, can the box-score be a hint of anything? I mean there are the 5 star players that have very good stats in the scouted game and those that have played poorly, it doesnt seem like much but can that be any sort of indication?

You could possibly use it to see if they foul a lot or have heaps of turnovers and possible their FT shooting. I wouldn't think it would help determining potential as it is there current skills.

So 5 stars potential starts with MVP I guess
So for now it's:
1 Ball: 1-2
2 Ball: 3-4
3 Ball: 5-6 (anyone 4?)
4 Ball: 7-8
5 Ball: 9-11

This looks more accurate. Or the letter one respectively (I should always read to the end of thread before responding).

there are 5 different 5 star pg's that i have scouted. only one of them has the potential and age next to them. he has a 4 star potential with a grade of A as a 18 year old. should i have him first priority or should i go by box score? there is also a 19 year old 4 star pg that has a grade of b+ and a potential of 4. should i put him higher than the unknown 5's or what? any comments or thoughts?

thanks in advance

the one with extra information is very good, the information you get out of the boxscore is very small because it's a single game and sometimes you have good or bad days, also some skills aren't representated in the box score(like defence).

Well i would definetly put the 18 year old first. Tough one on the 19 year old i'm facing a similar choice but mine is 5 star with 4 potential. Depends on how much risk u want to take, i think because he is only 4 star if it was me i would put the unknown 5's ahead
