Could it be that at some point the competition model of the clubs is going to change?

It is unreal that we have a Minimum Salary Spending Capacity and we do not have a Maximum Salary Spending Capacity, there are people who literally accumulate money for 10 or more seasons to return to compete and those who do not practice those forms of planning are left without any means to Being able to compete against these super teams that have an absurd Salary expense week by week, this game should reward perseverance, not threatening money and forming super teams for 2 or 3 seasons.

In my country every season we only have 2 or 3 teams that go out to compete for the league and the Cup respectively and the rest are only dedicated to training or continuing to save money, to wait their turn to compete, the ideal would have to be no reconstructions so aggressive and get incentives for continuing to compete.

Hi,
I follow the suggestion.
Yes, about me there must be a max salary.
In the transfer list you cannot buy a player if with his salary you are over the cap , that means if you are over the cap you cannot buy a player.
What do with trainers? Good question. A formula to increase the max cap about training?
What is the max cap salary? I think it must be dinamic about each conference (est and ovest)....
I hope game devs can be evaluate this suggestion

I'd this warrants its own topic.

Not sure about the value (no idea) but other than that it all seems reasonable and logical, at first glance.

What happens if they are below the "max", but then because they are training players, the next season salary increase takes them over the cap?

We can implement something which allows them to exceed the cap with trained players. Something like Bird Rights.

I would suggest that only the initial salary of the player (salary when they are acquired) counts towards the cap. This figure is already used for training exemption, so we might as well just reuse it for the cap. Plus it would also encourage people to train players, especially their draftees, coz then that would mean they almost have a free player.

The downside is if you have an aging team and your player's salary drops, their initial salary will still count towards the cap, not their current salary.

Tanking team sells all their players and trains three players from scratch while hoarding money.

It's hypothetical, but in reality it doesn't really come hand in hand. Training the players would actually put a dent into you hoarding money. Players could only tank and hoard money because they don't have additional expenses, like training courts and high level trainers. Not to mention doctors to prevent injuries from lingering. I legit could have hit the 25 million cap way faster than I am now (I ain't even halfway there at the moment), but having to fork out 3 million to change a level 7 coach every now and then kinda put a dent to my expenses. Having to maintain an environment that gives my players the best training it can receive isn't cheap.

If you want to train in a way which won't hurt your expenses, then you'd need to get like... A level 4 trainer? How long will that take before you hit the cap of a HoF? 10 seasons?

I mean if you really spent 10 seasons while training 3 HoFs just for a championship, by all means you deserve a championship win over those who buy players without training anyone.
