My draft strategy is use the box scores with the ratings. I got a 5/4 PG 2 seasons ago that turned out very poor rated as a bench warmer. On the other hand my best pick so far SF/PF 3 seasons ago in round 2 his ratings was 5/3 and he lived up to it. The reason I include box scores is the PG played short minutes with bad stats while the SF/PF lit up the box score in 28 minutes. I have had good drafts 2 out of 3 so far hope my luck continues this year.

After posting this seeing a lot of people don't trust the box scores let me test this for everyone I could be wrong but it has worked for me using them. I pick 7th in my league and will post the top 7 players box scores after the draft don't want anyone using my reports to steal my top 6 lol. I will keep the info until the draft takes place post them and then see if it works or not.

But don't base too much on the boxscore. The boxscore doesn't tell you what level they were playing at, who their opponent was, whether they had a really good day or a really bad day.

You had a 4 star potential player that was benchwarmer potential?? That doesn't seem right...
Or did you mean you just kept him on your bench?

Are you 100% sure he was the guy with 4 stars?
I've just never heard of 4 star potential being a bench warmer.

Positive I rated him 1 on my draft chart with another PG 2 that had 5/3 should have flipped them. The other one had superstar. My first draft was done on ratings like my second that one turned out great still have my 1st and 2nd rounders starting. Hoping for a big SG or SF to finish my starting lineup off. A shot blocking C would do the job as well crosses fingers that box scores are accurate enough see one with 4 blks in my top 7 5 star but only scouted once so potential and age unknown.

Are you totally, 100% sure? I couldn't find anything like this (a player you rated highly who ended up having bench-warmer potential) anywhere in your draft history.

Depends on his skills, and what you want to do with your team.

Honestly I would drop the 3rd player down to the bottom. Only being 2 potential hurts him and you could have better luck with another 5 star unknown.
