I think it was established that the minutes required are actually around 1500 minutes for 1 pop.

Thus the reason I spent money on a 28-yr old PF/C this off-season with Strong experience (hell of a good player ... already building up a good rapport with his teammates, in particular his buddy down in the paint, Vernon Partridge. I even spent money during a push to make the playoffs for Season 11 on a 29-year old Center (currently 31) that had Proficient experience. He's also a heck of a good player though not nearly as much as Candia and Partridge but I know that when Partridge needs a breather, I can trust Damon Mohr to pick up and keep us in the game. With the addition of Candia, I have a highly experienced elite mercenary combined with my best player on the team banging down low and backed up by an experienced more-than-capable mercenary. Combine that with two other players (one drafted a while back that plays SF/PF with Mediocre XP and another merc that plays PF/SF with Awful XP) and I have a pretty damn good experienced interior group of players.

I haven't really tracked any of the pops my players I have in XP but I place a high value on Experience as long as they are a quality player.

I also have a PG that I drafted and has been my starter from Day 1 that now has Average experience and my starting SG that I acquired early Season 12 that has inept experience.

I might be wrong but given this set of data it would appear to me that cup and scrimmage totals don't count. Especially when you look at the pops from players #3 and #4.

I would be very surprised if cup games don't count as logically they should provide a lot of experience. You are playing some of the best teams in the country after all.
