Season 69 Power Rankings (after five games) (Courtesy of ChatGPT)

1. Hemet Hooligans (5–0, +141 PD)
Undefeated with the league’s best point differential, Hemet dominates on both ends. They lead in FG% and are second in scoring and rebounding. Borko Tešić and Pavel Vojtko power this deep, efficient squad.

2. Telecasters (4–1, +70 PD)
Elite shooters and passers, the Telecasters top the league in FT% and rank second in team rating. Johnny Hellerud leads a smart, balanced team that plays winning basketball.

3. Lucky Leprechaun (3–2, –26 PD)
Despite a negative differential, their shooting and efficiency rank top-three. Nico Kerremans scores 24.2 PPG with 5.2 APG. With more defense, they’re a contender.

4. Chiefers (4–1, +26 PD)
Second in assists and rebounds, the Chiefers thrive on ball movement and physical play. Joseph Benton and Vinzenz Räztsch lead a disciplined, team-first squad.

5. La Crosse Slammers (3–2, +3 PD)
Led by Winston Frantz and Hamza Salem, La Crosse tops the league in rebounds and plays tough defense. A gritty, playoff-ready team.

6. Fenway Flyers (2–3, –3 PD)
Storm Wilson and Winston Block score over 22 PPG, and Andrew Lowe dishes 7.8 APG. Strong in assists and rebounds, they’re better than their record.

7. Bay Harbor Butchers (4–1, +11 PD)
Not flashy, but tough. Janusz Wiktorski’s 12.8 RPG powers the top rebounding team. Javier Guraya leads a scrappy offense.

8. Persevering Pride (2–3, –27 PD)
Carlos Dempsey scores 27.2 PPG, but the team lacks rebounding and depth. Strong shooting keeps them competitive.

9. Ballers (2–3, –8 PD)
Jorge Alfredo Rocha and Magnus Jansson dominate the glass. Inconsistent scoring and turnovers hold them back.

10. Sauk Centre Gofers (2–3, –22 PD)
Burak Güleç scores a league-best 32.6 PPG, but poor team support and low assists make this a one-man show.

11. A.C. Gamblers (2–3, +9 PD)
Martin Bullock leads a balanced team with a positive differential. Lacking stars, but deep and steady.

12. Clarkston Wolves (1–4, –29 PD)
Good shooting from Korey Story and Joe Towns, but poor defense and rebounding keep them from closing games.

13. Sofuegg (1–4, –29 PD)
Fadil Hegazy grabs 19.4 RPG, and Ezio Murgia adds size, but they struggle to score efficiently despite leading in rebounds.

14. Bluemoon Griffins (2–3, –28 PD)
Cary Vail rebounds well, but the offense is the worst in the league. Shooting woes plague their chances.

15. Taichung City BC (2–3, –48 PD)
Ruediger Klawitter leads the league in assists (8.2), but the team is last in scoring. Poor rebounding and FG% hurt them.

16. The Orchestra (1–4, –39 PD)
Piero Manzoni (30.6 PPG) and Giuliano Allegrezza (23.0 PPG) score big, but awful team efficiency and no bench make them bottom-tier.

Manzoni was robbed of a spot in the all-star game! Top vote-getter to not get rostered. Lame! More votes than Benton or Hoffmann! Ima boycott... lol

Also, Great 8 gonna get smashed on Tuesday, right?

Sometimes the all star stuff confuses me. I have 4 guys on the 10 person team - I’m not complaining, I hope that gets me a nice merch boost the rest this season.

In terms of pts, rebounds, and assists leaders… I only have 1 player appear on that list and it’s just for pts.

My guy that got the starting point guard spot (and most votes of anyone at that position), isn’t even my intended PG (tho he has played a lot there this season). Ironically a few seasons ago in this very league, he was an all star at SF or PF and at that time, I considered him my 5th best player.

I have not figured out what is highly valued for all star status.
