Just a question. Am I wrong in my assumption that bot-teams don't draft players (or at least only after "human" teams?) I have the feeling that this was the case a couple of seasons back - but I'm not sure if that's still the case or not ...

Because, if bots draft after human teams, then every human team has the possibility to draft an MVP or so ... if they don't invest enough in scouting and a bot drafts the MVP, then that's not something that should be helped by putting those bot-draftees on the TL. I wouldn't invest in scouting at all if there would be plenty of supply in MVP+ players every season if those bot-draftees were on the TL. The whole point in scouting would be almost worthless.

And if this was implemented: would bot teams in bot leages (e.g. Germany Divisions V + VI) also be forced to sell their mvp+ draftees? That would probably be good for Germany as well, having more of those high-potential players to train. But I don't think that's what the BBs had in mind when they had the draft implemented (and all those changes where you have the possibility to get a good draftee if you invest enough in scouting).

Nope, bot teams draft regularly, before the human teams, if they higher picks..

Also I agree with Mannon, too bad for micronations, but it's still better this way..

I also agree with you guys - it's very hard to manage a NT/ U21 in a micronation ... but in my opinion, we should just try to find a way to get more users to join those nations (I know, not an easy thing to accomplish), then they'll have more trainees (and also more managers to train them) ...

maybe ur idea is the better suggestion to the problem.

make it such that all bot teams will ALWAYS draft after real teams.

That way, the human players have the best possible chance to get the Superstar/MVP/HoF/ATG potential players.

usually in the draft, in the first round, even in a league full of real teams, you usually get your first preference so making it that bot teams pick after you is not that much of a change.
in fact, now that i think about it, I think maybe you are right? Maybe bot teams do draft after human teams? I think this is in place already?

Yes, that's what I'm thinking. But would be nice if a BB confirmed...

I looked back at the draft pages; in S24 bots didn't draft any players.

thats a bit weird.

i dont remember any trial or anything, maybe they should just implement this then?

i dont see any problems.

I remember it happening. Unfortunately I can't remember why it happened or why it didn't happen again.

It seemed a good idea then, it would be a good idea now.
