Historic Night for Spoonmore Forces Game 3

After a lopsided affair in Game 1, there was uneasiness among Delpra fans still recovering from last season’s Finals loss. The Storm shut down the Delpra offense with relative ease, and convinced many that the Finals would end on Delpra’s home floor at the Google Center. But the young Delpra squad and their fearless scorer Huey Spoonmore were not yet ready to exit the playoffs. Delpra looked sharp from the opening tip and never looked back. By halftime, the lead was 23 in favor of Delpra. It was a historic night for star guard Spoonmore who finished the game with an astounding 68 points on 28-46 shooting. The league’s highest paid player, Spoonmore drew a lot of criticism throughout the season for his production on the court. Many felt that his contribution to the team did not justify his massive salary. This was a night that Spoonmore surely won over some of his doubters by singe-handedly carrying the team and keeping their championship hopes alive for one more game.

Congrats, Springfield Storm.

Looking forward to next season. Anybody hit draft gold? I certainly didn't. No skills, no potential... Not on my team anymore. ;)

I sold off my two cash-generating trainees and am looking to finish retooling before the end of the off-season on Saturday. Here's hoping...
